Taking over and scaling the ARMS platform

An EdTech client approached Nexority Infotech with challenges around their existing ARMS (Academic Resource Management System) platform. The previous vendor was reluctant to implement necessary feature updates and charged excessively, making scalability difficult.

• Clone the ARMS platform to a new domain while ensuring seamless updates.
• Stabilise the system architecture to accommodate extensive feature additions.
• Revamp dashboards from Power BI to HTML, including 42 dynamic charts for supervisors, managers and user agents.
• Integrate an email communication engine so users can send and receive email directly in the platform.

• Team expansion: a project manager, tech lead, back-end developer, front-end developer and test lead were onboarded to meet tight deadlines and manage complex updates.
• Code and architecture optimisation: the codebase and internal architecture were upgraded for stability and performance.
• Technology overhaul: Power BI dashboards were replaced with custom-built Angular components for usability and visualisation.

• Annual maintenance contract awarded: Nexority secured an annual contract for all technical development, along with two new website projects.
• New clients acquired: two new clients onboarded onto the upgraded ARMS platform.
• Seamless adoption: 300+ users transitioned to the new platform, improving operational efficiency.
